Artist's Comments

Made with Bryce. This is the second try. It's hard to get the pillars in a row and down to floor level so all looks like it should. I think I should add more lighting in the interior. Comments and critiques welcome.

Actually, I think the lighting is perfect!

Usually if you lower the pillars by hand, the base will start to disappear as you go under the floor. But if the floor is an infinite plane, you can simply ask Bryce to drop them. They will land exactly on the floor.

And can you please tell how you go about asking Bryce to drop them to the floor?

You know about the menu on the right of the object? The down arrow on the bottom of the menu will drop the object to an infinite plane beneath it. Let me know if you are able to make it work OK.

Thanks for the advice, Pat. I'm finding more and more out about Bryce. There is so much to learn when using a new program.

TELL me about it! First you have to learn how to use the program, and if it's at all complex, that can take a long time, sometimes years. And once you know enough, artistry kicks in, and that's a whole bunch of new learnings. You're welcome.

I could take this image into Daz Studio and add a figure. Maybe some day I'll do that. I've thought about that myself. It would add a lot to have a little life in the picture. Thanks for the comment.
